My smile was rewarded and brightened by the pleasant and piney aroma of this strain as I wasn’t expecting it to be so pungent at such an affordable price. The nugs were big and full of bright orange hairs. I was basically salivating at this point and couldn’t wait to get home to try it. Appearance The big beautiful buds were light green and purple with bright orange pistils that were drizzled in the dankest looking crystals. Status Fresh and perfectly Trimmed Aroma The scent was light and piney with a citrus after note. Flavor Light and Fruity on the inhale. Sweet and candy notes on the exhale. Lineage Generally known as simply “Cheese” or “UK Cheese,” Exodus Cheese is the original clone-only strain that originated in Southern England sometime during the late 1980s or early 90s. Though the identity of the original grower is still debated, at some point in the early 90s the cannabis lifestyle activists based in Luton calling themselves Exodus acquired some clones of Cheese and from there it rapidly became one of the most popular and sought after varieties in the UK. Effects I realized that I was feeling the effects of Exodus Cheese because I started talking about everything around me like it was super interesting. The same smile that I had when I first saw the flower was now stuck to my face and seemed to get wider with every passing minute. If I had to simplify the effects to one phrase I would say that it was Euphorically Energetic. Conclusion Exodus Cheese was amazing. I’ve always been a fan of the cheese strain types but to have this opportunity to try the original was truly something special . This 505/50 Hybrid was uplifting and I would strongly suggest this to anyone who is struggling with the gloom of the winter season as it was a great mood changer. The taste and smell were bright and matched. The effects were wonderful and let me down easy as I wasn’t too high to enjoy more but also wasn’t craving a need for more. I have definitely added this strain onto the list of social smokes. Would highly recommend for group settings to break a person out of their shell and enjoy a good time without feeling overwhelmed.
