| Video Discription | Goal: Germinate seeds on March 15, and have the plants start flowering on May 15 under natural sunlight with no supplemental lighting. This Iranian is an '18 hour flower' or 'semi-auto', meaning it is fully photosensitive, it can be cloned, and it can be vegged into infinity as long as it gets over 18 hours of light per day. Once the light drops under 18 hours (anytime of year in California), it will start flowering. They have an 8-9 week full term flower period, and the flowers test around 18%-25% THC- with lots of room for other cannabinoids :) I like to do a production run of these in early Spring with a target harvest date of July 4th-15th... so we can squeeze in this bonus round in our garden beds just as we start bringing our full season plants into those same beds (out with the Iranians, in with the full season varieties). This also allows us to lock in a nice production harvest before fire season... sad, but smoke taint is a real danger these days in California. These Iranians are our preferred plants for our Jade Nectar Indica Drops olive oil tinctures - and their effects are super relaxing, mystical, & dreamy :) I've grown huge plants with these before, but I prefer to finish them off about chest high... and all the flowers ripen uniformly from top to bottom. The structure is usually a perfect candelabra of nice chunky colas. Great pest resistance, zero PM, and high botrytis resistance... all around power plant :) Anyway - rambling babbling video, but hope this makes sense, and feel free to ask questions if you want... I'll be breeding with the plants that are just starting to flower now, on May 15. I took clones of these plants too, so I can work with those cuttings for breeding... it's always easier to pollinate smaller plants that can be moved and isolated during pollination.
